In September 2023, the Mont Blanc Tunnel will begin a major renovation of its structure. The work will be carried out in several phases which will be spread over several years. Learn more about the renovation with the official press release

 

The first part of the renovation, which will take place from September 4th to December 18th, 2023, requires the total closure of the traffic lanes. During this period, you can take the alternative routes described in the map on the right.
