New free motorways in Spain

In 2018, the Spanish government decided not to renew the management contracts terminating between 2018 and 2021. Thus, for the past 3 years, various stretches of motorways have gradually become free for their users.

This summer, two Catalan freeways will become free: the AP-7 between Barcelona and France, and the AP-2 between Barcelona and Zaragoza.
