Closure of the Mont Blanc Tunnel from 02/09/24 to 16/12/24
The Mont Blanc tunnel completely closed to traffic from September 09th to December 16th 2024
From Monday September 2, 2024 at 5 p.m until December 16, 2024 at 5 p.m, the Mont Blanc Tunnel will begin the first test site for the renovation of its vault. The traffic lanes will then be closed for a period of 15 weeks.

During this period, we recommend the following itineraries:
Fréjus Tunnel
This tunnel, linking Modane (France ) to Bardonecchia (Italie), accepts the same cards as Mont Blanc.
Mont Cenis railway Tunnel
This line operated by the Alpine Rail Highway connect the city of Aiton-Biurneuf (FR) near Albertville to Orbassano (IT) near Turin.
