The road toll system in Croatia
In Croatia, the toll payment system is based on DSRC with barriers. All trucks and buses over 3.5 tonnes traveling on the motorway network in Croatia are subject to toll.
There are 3 concessionaires operating the Croatian motorway network: HAC (1140 km), BINA (141 km) and AZM (60 km). On the HAC network, electronic payment is possible. Your vehicles must be equipped with a DSRC device and certified by the Croatian toll. For the BINA and AZM networks, payment is made by bank card or in cash. This toll domain is subject to VAT at 25%.
