The road toll system in the Slovenia
In Slovenia, all vehicles over 3.5 tonnes (HGVs and buses) travelling on the 625 km national road network, comprising motorways and national roads, are subject to tolls.
To use this network, your vehicles must be fitted with a DSRC device, certified by the Slovenian toll operator DARS, and correctly installed on board.
The Slovenian toll system operates on a free-flow basis, i.e. without barriers. VAT is charged at 22%.
If you would like to drive in Slovenia, you have two possibilities :
If you are using the system on an occasional basis:
Go to a DARS distribution point in order to withdraw your DARS-GO vehicle box
If you are a regular user:
Order a LUMESIA 1 device from Lumesia and install it in your truck. On top of Slovenian, Lumesia 1 will allow you to travel in almost all Europe.
